- Shame or punish the children when bathroom accidents occur.
- Deny food or rest as punishment.
- Relate discipline to eating, resting or sleeping.
- Leave the children alone, unattended, or without supervision.
- Place the children in locked rooms, closets, or boxes as punishment.
- Allow discipline of children by children.
Daily Departure
When picking up your child be sure your child has all of his / her items to take home and sign him/her out. Once you sign your child out, you must monitor and reinforce our policy that children stay with an adult at all times. Children must never leave out of the Center unaccompanied by an adult. Cars are constantly arriving and departing and we do not.

Parent's Responsibilities
$5 per minute late per child: Late fees must be paid in full the day of or the next morning; otherwise, there will be an interruption in your service until all fees are paid. If the center has not heard from the parent or authorized pick up persons after the first 15 minutes of being late, the center will resume with contacting local authorities.
Parents are expected to accompany their child into the center’s central receiving hub area. Parents are not allowed inside of the classrooms for structure and safety purposes. Parents are to utilize the hand sanitizer then sign their child in at the foyer sign in / out podium and WAIT A FEW SECONDS for the temperature taking of the child. If your child will not be attending on a scheduled day, please call the Center’s Director by 9:00 AM. Children will not be accepted into the center after 9:00 a.m. unless accompanied by an official doctor’s excuse.
Tuition is payable by cash and or cash app $MadyBeesFac21. Tuition is due whether the child(ren) are absent or present. Tuition is due every month on the 1st and before the 3rd. If your payments are not received by the closing of the 3rd a late fee of $15.00 per child will be charged on the 4th & 5th . Unless all payments to include late fees are paid at the closing of the 5th your services automatically terminate. If your services terminate & the parent wishes to re-start services, the old balance to include late fees must be paid + a $50 restart fee.
Drop in’s are based on space and availability. $30 per day per child. You must fill out the drop in check list.
Parents/Guardians or those responsible for drop off and pick up must sign the child in and out with the proper time and signature in our Parent Sign In/ Out Book daily.
Policies
Two weeks written notice must be given to the Director of the centern prior to your child’s last day of attendance. Parents are responsible for payment of services until the withdrawal date.
Parents/Guardians are always welcomed visitors at our Center. Parents are asked to be courteous regarding visitation during Quiet Time Hours. It is recommended for visitors, to schedule visits/tours.
Discipline is to guide, teach and help a child develop the internal control to behave appropriately. Our staff uses positive behavior management techniques. Staff may utilize a “cooling off” period when a child is in danger of hurting him/herself or others. This brief period is not corner time but it is redirection intended for the child to regain his/her self control in order to better communicate and listen to the needs of all involved.
During the COVID-19 pandemic period, our Health Check & Illness Policy applies to all staff, children and their household members. Children ( 3years and up ) and those dropping children off must have on a mask, utilize the hand sanitizer before signing a child in and the children must submit to a temperature check upon arrival at the center. If the child have a fever or any of the listed symptoms, they must remain out of the center until cleared from a doctor accompanied with an excuse to return. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Mady Bee’s House of Learning provide positive guidance along with a large range of educational and physical activities to encourage independence and skill in small children. However, when excessive unacceptable behavior of the child is continuous, harmful to self, harmful to other children and or staff the following steps will take place. Note excessive behavior includes but not limited to: biting, hitting, unsafe physical contact, disruption and not following 1-2 step directions continuously. Steps:
1. Positive redirection
2. “cooling off period” – age appropriate
3. Phone call home
4. Discussion and documentation of a behavior modification plan
5. Suspension / Service Separation: 1st (3 days), 2nd ( 1 week), 3rd (separation of service)
